Büchli Approved offers you a responsible overhaul solution when original OEM overhaul components are not available or are no longer available. Tested and carried out in accordance with Büchli’s quality standards.

When is Büchli Approved relevant for you?

Büchli Approved is intended for specific applications where OEM is simply not an option, such as with Caterpillar injectors.

This solution is relevant when:

• original OEM overhaul components are not available or are no longer obtainable
• you do not want to take risks with uncontrolled or inconsistent aftermarket solutions
• you prefer a circular solution, but this is not offered by the OEM

OEM or Büchli Approved ?

At Büchli, we work as standard with original OEM components for overhaul and repair.
This is and remains our point of departure.

In practice, it appears that some manufacturers do not make individual original components available for overhaul. As a result, a high-quality OEM overhaul is technically impossible.
Without an alternative, this means:

• no circular overhaul option
• longer downtime
• or the forced use of uncontrolled aftermarket components

We do not consider this a responsible choice.

What is Büchli Approved?

Büchli Approved is our own quality line for overhauls in cases where OEM components are not available.
It concerns non-OEM components that are, by Büchli:

• carefully selected
• sourced from fixed suppliers
• compliant with defined technical specifications
• consistent in material, design, and tolerances

After overhaul, we fully test all components on our own test benches in accordance with OEM specifications.

Büchli Approved is explicitly not an OEM solution.
Nevertheless, you may expect from us the quality you are accustomed to:

• the same process discipline as with our OEM overhauls
• internal quality assurance and documentation
• functional testing per component in accordance with OEM specifications

In which cases is Büchli Approved applied?

Büchli Approved overhauls are applied exclusively:

• when OEM overhaul components are structurally unavailable
• fully separated from our regular OEM overhaul line

Currently, we apply Büchli Approved to Caterpillar injectors. In the future, this line may also be deployed for other applications in which manufacturers block the availability of original overhaul components.
